Jackson Holeyo

Want to know the truth???? I LOVE you kids to death, but some times a mama and a papa just need a break!! I am not gonna lie here folks. I love these babies of mine but MAN talk about a 24 hour a day 7 days a week job.

This past August Matt and I and two couple friends of ours took a little river rafting camping trip to Jackson Hole, and yep we left you rug rats with Grandma Chewy. It's funny how you don't realize until once you are gone how badly a little get away is needed. Matt and I had such a good time together. We love driving on vacations because it is a time where we just get to be together and talk and enjoy each other. It was so nice being able to laugh and not worry about dipes and potty breaks and who is bugging who!

We met Hart and Katie one of our favorite couples, (can I say that??)In jackson and camped out with them and then the next morning Jason and Holly Another awesome couple!! Came and we river rafted and went to bar J. It was really such a good time. The next day Matt and I just took our time getting home Matt fished while I read on the bank, and it felt so good!!!

So with all the fun that was had and the goofing off that was there I still learned this amazing lesson that yep I am going to share with you kiddies. so here it goes. KIDS... life is busy, and life is hard. Especially when you add mortgages, real jobs, bambinos  etc etc etc But when all of that stuff happens it is so important to keep dating that wonderful spouse of yours and to keep putting he or she first no matter what. Sometimes there is a lot of stress but remember that you married this person so that you wouldn't have to go through everything that we do alone, you are a team. When you start having kids they take up a lot of your time and thoughts. I am learning day by day that in order to survive dad and I HAVE to work together and we HAVE to put each other first otherwise we will fail you three! So Max go buy your wife some flowers! Madi, Mia, give your honey a massage when he gets home and thank him for working so hard. Alright that's all I got for ya, work hard stay the course and do it with your honey right by your side!

What the hell? I thought all the boys had planned on an August trip that just fell through. Hmmm. other friends huh? J/K! Looks fun (other than the camping part- I prefer hotels). If you ever want a double hot date give John and I a call- we also accept children at the table on these dates if need be :)
