Memory lane

Hey I stole this from Dallas who stole this from someone else who I am sure stole it from someone else but it is kind of fun!! I just want you all to pay close attention to rule number 3!!!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I or you and Matt had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is the most memorable for you.

2. Next, if you feel so inclined, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you...!

3. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

I have a lot of fun memories of you. I hope that this one is okay to leave- remember the dance picture which landed you the nickname Brandilla Saggy Boobasaur!I still think that is so funny!

I also remember when you and Matt were leaving your reception and all the boys started throwing smowballs at you- which I thought was so mean on your wedding day! I gave Jake crap over that one!

How can I forget the good old Elementary School days and Nathan as your little boyfriend! I thought that you were such a cute girl for Normy! Oh, the good old days- weren't they great!

Also, didn't Jake and I come see you one time while you were in school in Cedar City- before we were married? This is sounding right- I think that we went down to St. George to go to dinner some where. If I remember right we were going down to see Monica and met up with you in the process! I wish I could remember that better.

My most recent memory was when I came out to your house and got out of my car and thought I had just stepped into the local poop plant- yuck! I saw the post with your grass results- at least it paid off eventually. If I can think of more I will add them later!

Brandi I still remember when we first were building our house I saw you outside on your porch super prego, with a huge ice cream cone. I thought to myself, "i know i'm going to like her."

I also think about the trip we all took to Mesquite. that trip was awesome. The boys entered some random poker tourny. I loved it!! And you guys thought we were weird for making the boys drive to St. George for Rio.

I know I've mentioned this before, but I still think it is funny that Jake learned some of his flirting moves from you! The "forehead kiss" is all part of the Brandy's lessons on how to treat a girl! It obviously worked, so good job! :)

I remember this because my "sweet" sister keeps bringing it up.....How about the time I was going to give you "just a little" trim and ended up giving you a "bob"? Or curling your hair for church when you were little and burning your temples (every Sunday you would go to primary looking like an abused child because of me!!!)

So many to choose from???? Sleepovers, student government, dances and boys....
Well I think I still will never forgive you for setting me up on that crazy blind date. I was really hoping that your date was mine, but then this short little guy stepped out from behind him and with his sqeeky little voice introduced himself as my date. You had a great time while I suffered trying to keep myself as far apart form my date as possible while he kept trying to hold my hand. I was so relieved when that date was over and never again did I trust you to set me up on blind dates.
I also remember when we all went to a girls choice dance and you almost killed us in your car twice. Once you tried to swerve in the middle of the Hwy so you wouldn't hit a bird and then you forgot to put the car in park and left all of us innocent passengers in a rolling vehicle.
You were always leading me on some crazy adventure. Thanks for all the fun times.

I remember meeting you back in ninth grade when we were doing the sound of music and we had some good times during that. I could be wrong, but for some reason I remember you walking in on my while I was peeing during a party at Rob's house. It was slightly embarassing...

I have too many... sleepovers, toilet papering, boys, dances, junior high parties, road trips. Those were the good old days.

Well my very first memory of you was first day of 6th grade. I was so nervous and shy and didn't want to talk to anyone. Then I notice a girl at the bike lock on safety patrol staring at me. Akward! Then I was safe I go in class no sign of the girl at the bike lock. Then you came in and sat at my table and offered to show me around school. I just wanted to be unnoticed but of course I am glad. We have been friends for so long.

Of course I love the memories of us driving by boys houses and spying on them. What great times we've had.

The first time I met you, you told me that you were living in a tiny apartment with your parents while you built your house. And that your parents were also building a house right around the corner from you. I thought, "oh you poor thing." Mainly because I was living with my parents at the time while we built our house and it was NOT fun. Little did I know that you and your parents are completely awesome. I'm so glad we're neighbors.

Hey Brandi glad you found our blog, we have been blog stalking you for awhile now. You have some very entertaining stories and a very nice family. So memories... there were always fun times when you lived in George's neighborhood, and then there were always the good ole days in the 13th ward. But the most memorable was probably the date we went on and I ended up racing Jeff Handy in my little red Toyota Tercel and him in his Chevy Tahoe Good times.

Nobody's posting about Matt-how unfair. I guess I have more memories of Matt for obvious reasons. My absolute favorite memory (which still happens and I love it) is when he sings my name Angie to me. The boys used to sing that Rolling Stones song to me- back when I was the only girl in the group- and I loved it. Matt does it the best. I also remember him being introduced to me in the halls of T-Ville very quickly as he walked down D hall, Hedman yelled hey angie, this is Matt. And Matt grinned a big silly grin and waved and kept walking. Apparently he had been in our science class earlier in the year and I didn't remember him. Plus I always remember how nice Matt (and all the boys) were to me when I would crash their boys night- when they told me I was one of them I was thrilled. My first memory of you Brandi is after a high school musical Matt left us to hang out with you and I thought- who's this girl? :) I'm glad when we get to hang out though. You make are parties the best!

I think this is a great idea but I can't think of just one memory. We had so many fun times together from girls camp, sleep overs, driving by boys houses, you helping me with student government stuff and so much more! I have always looked up to you and always knew that I would have so much fun being with you. I sometimes wish we could stay young forever:)

Thanks for the memories. I am so glad that you knew we would be friends forever. I have another memory that I put on Erin's blog. Our days of hypnotizing, that was a blast and then it got kinda scary but we always had a blast.
