The boat

Matt and his good buddy Casey bought their fishing boat last summer and unfortantely due to lack of time and too many little children Summer (Casey's wife) and I have never gotten a chance to experience the joy of their lives. So this past weekend we all sent our kiddies to grandmas and grandpas and the four of us took off. We took the 3 (8!! right Sum?) hour drive to Idaho and camped out. Summer and I chatted around the fire while our geeky husbands fixed up their poles for the next days trip. It seriously took them like 3 hours to rig up their poles! That night was pretty eventful, our fire was like a trick candle and it kept coming back to life, Casey and Summer swore that there was a moose outside of our tent (really it was just a little puppy dog!!!) and we heard some crazy couple going at it by the outhouse!! I swear people are insane! The next morning we were up bright and early and we floated for like 8 hours straight. Although, the boys thought that we were incredibly bored we weren't, it was quite relaxing just floating and dreaming about all of the cabins that we hope to own someday. Next time we know to bring a book and a Diet Coke for Summer!
