SLIME

Little Max was pretty bummed that Madi got to start kindergarten and he didn't so me and some of the ma's around here arranged a little play group and a little Joy school. I'm not going to lie reverting back to a mother of one child on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays for a couple of hours is FANTASTIC! but besides that Max has LOVED this. It has been so good for him. I love seeing him interact with these kids. It's kind of nice, on Tuesdays we rotate with 5 other boys for play group and then on Mon and Thursdays we rotate with 4 other girls and boys for Joy school. He loves thinking that he is a big boy and going to school just like Madi.

Well this last week playgroup was at our house and we decided to make slime!It was a success! If you have never done this you totally need to. The boys loved it! I loved it when we were in the back yard! :) Boys and slime equal slime fights and messes! But hey don't slime fights and messes equal happy memories???

It has been a few days now sense we made it, and now Madi has taken it over and wants to play with it almost every day! Kind of fun!

Homemade Slime Recipe




Borax

White Glue

Water

Food Coloring (optional)

Ziploc bag



1. Borax is available in the laundry section of the grocery store. Take a cup of water and add to it 1 Tbs. of borax. Stir until completely dissolved. I actually used prob 2 TBs because it was too sticky.

2. Add a 1/2 cup of glue

3. Add a couple drops of food coloring.

4. Stir really good!

5. Dig in and have fun.
6. Keep your slime in a sealed bag in the refrigerator or an air tight container.
