My 6 year old!

Our sweet Madison turned 6 in Sept. 6 years old!!!! HOLY CANOLI! I won't lie and say it has been the best 6 years of my life but it has for sure been an amazing 6 years! This little girl has brought so much happiness into my and Matt's  life she has taught us so much and has helped us to realize who we are and who we want to become. I don't know what I would do without this girl. I love her so so much!

At 6 years old:

Madi's Favorite color: pink, purple, and yellow
thing to do: Play with friends, play with Max and Mia, swim, and go to school
           Food: Chicken Nuggets
           Snack: Cheese and crackers
Song: I am a Child of God
          Movie: Wizards of Waverly Place
Book: The orange Fairy Tale book that Aunt Em gave to her
          Treat: birthday cake
When mad grows up she wants to be an "animal doctor"

Madi for sure has her moments of being a bratty kid but 90% of the time this girl is an angel. She really is. She has such a sweet tender heart and she is so thoughtful. Lately Madi has found her inner craft side! She loves being creative and creating things. She loves to scrap book and draw. Her favorite game to play is church, she loves to pretend like she is the primary president and max is her little slave. madi eats up family time, She gets so excited when it is FHE night or a weekend where we are doing some kind of family activity. She loves to play with all of us. She also loves and craves alone time. Sometimes she just wants to play in her room by herself or climb up on my bed to watch a movie by herself. She is famous for saying I just need a break! There are so many things that I love and adore about this girl but mostly I love her big beautiful eyes and how they melt my heart! I love her little hugs and how minutes after she has been naughty she fixes it with a hug and an apology. She is as stubborn as they come but I think this whole dang family is! Madison, I hope you know how much you are loved! You are simply Amazing!

This year for Madi's birthday we let her decide if she wanted to have a friend party or if she wanted to have a special date night with just mom and dad. To our surprise she chose a date night. I thought for sure she would eventually change her mind but she wasn't budging. So me her and pops went to applebees for dinner, then to Target and let her pick out her own presents, and then she insisted on going to the movies. We saw nanny Mcphee returns. We tried to talk her into boondocks or Classic but she said Daddy, boondocks does not go with dinner. You have to do dinner and a movie. Ok mad whatever you say! It was fun just spending some one on one time with our girl.

I love the coconuts photo! Never lose that one. Crazy how fast time goes by- I remember coming to see her in the hospital...and all of the gross stories Matt told us there. By the way, a bit of a contributing factor for why I don't have kids yet. You can high 5 him for that. :)
