My Girly Girl

A couple of Saturdays ago Matt woke Max up at 5:00 AM and took him on his very first boat ride man fishing trip! Max loved spending the time with his pops and instead of opting to sleeping on the way to the river we jabbered away about star wars and such! Matt said that max was loved every minute of it and that he was such a champ on the boat! My first thought is Max's poor future wife, she is going to be a fishing widow too.
But while the boys were away us girlys had to play!! The first thing on Madi's list was pedicures. The cute little shop that we usually go to was closed and Madi was not quite tall enough for adult chairs so we had this great idea of buying our own foot bath. And don't you worry we found one at the DI or the treasure shop as it is known around here. It cost us $6.00 and it has been well worth it. After we got our foot bath squared away we did a little shopping where madi puts one of EVERYTHING in the cart and then slowly but surely picks the items that she wants. It tests my patience everytime but I was trying to be a good sport because it was girls day! The I let mad choose where we would go for luunch, and my girl proved to me that I was doing some kind of parenting right when she chose Olive Garden! YES!! I was so afraid i would be eating Mcdonalds chicken nuggets!
Then we headed home and put mia to sleep and got to work massaging and pedicuring each other! I loved it! I couldn't have asked for a better day.

my favorite was when she asked me if I would prefer a cup or a bowl to drink from?  I let her choose and ended with a bowl!!! Guess I better lower the cups a little in the cupboard!

And then Mia woke up and joined in on the fun!!!
