My Soccer Stars!

Rememebr how I was a little nervous for Miss madi to play ball again this year??? Well we were worried for nothing! This girl has skills!! We have been trying to play with the kids in the yard just so little Max would have some kind of idea of what was going on, well during our "practise" time mad would have nothing to do with it. She chose to be the photographer instead so Matt and I both were a little curious how her first game would go. But she got out there and actually dribbled the ball! And scored 4 goals!!! We were all SHOCKED! Daddy made the dumb mistake of promising her ten bucks for each goal (I know pretty steep! but you have to remember that the last time she played she wouldn't get near the ball, so he thought she'd never kick a goal!) Well he was wrong and we are out 40 bones! I am convincing her to put at least half of it in her bank account but she is pretty set on 40 different colored nail polishes so I guess we will see!

Nothing Like having your BFF there to cheer you on either!

Max on the other hand...well lets just say he didn't score a goal! He did kick the ball 4 or 5 times though so that is a start. But his problem was that he enjoyed kicking the other boys instead of the ball. It was hilarious! I really think that he thought that he was supposed to kick the kids and that was the game. He would randomly kick a kid and then kind of pat hug him and ask if he was ok. He had all of us laughing so hard, and it was quite the crowd too because it was his third birthday! So we were all cheering him on.  These kids crack me up! Can't wait until next game!
I'm not sure why Max brought karate kid into this game, but he did and he chopped a couple of kids along the way. I can't look at the top left picture without laughing out loud! He is a little stud!

Ha, ha, ha! I love Max. He is hilarious, and I'm sure it was super funny to watch him kick other kids. Love that guy. And go Mad! $40!!! Way steep!

Way to go Madster! I love a girly girl who can rock it in sports too. My favorite kind.

I can't believe Max is old enough to play soccer. That is my favorite age to watch. They'd rather be chasing butterflies than following the ball. What a cutie!!!
