Madi the great!!

Madison's preschool class was having a talent show last week. So I kept asking Mad what she wanted to do for her talent. We discussed, painting, singing, drawing, telling them one of her stories, dancing, baking, etc etc. After I went through all of the options I could think of Madi looked at me and said I would like to do a Magic Show. I should have known! I have some old tricks from a Homecoming Pageant I did in high school and she loves to see them. So we pulled out the tricks, and my old cape and cut it down to her size. At home practising she was HILARIOUS!!! She didn't have a care in the world! and then when we got to school she was not quite as relaxed her voice was a lot quieter but she did fantastic! We were all laughing. It was so fun to see all of her little friends singing, dancing, doing karate moves! I love kids! So innocent and full of life! These magic tricks have been quite the hit around here though. Anyone who comes over madi has to show off her skills. We had the missionaries over for dinner on Monday night and both Max and Mad gave them their very own private talent show. Max now follows Madi's lead and tries to do the ticks himself. One night he was standing on the magic stool and actually got one of the tricks to work and it shocked him! Matt and I were laughing so hard because Max just sat there with this look of amazement as he realized he too could do magic

Grandpa Chuck saw part of the Madi The Great magic show and was completely impressed. Not only do I have the cutes grandkids ever, but the most talented. (Yes, I'm a very proud grandfather)!
