I swear Christmas gets better and better with age! I never really believed my parents when they would say that they didn't really want or need anything for Christmas. I always thought that was such a lie! But now Matt and I both get it! It's so funny we both just don't care any more. We just love giving and making the whole season memorable for our little family! This year was So so so much fun! The kids were so excited. Madi was literally shaking and screaming at the same time and they just loved everything that they got. I am now a believer of getting all of your Christmas errands done the first week of December. In the past I used to just love the hustle and bustle of it and when I finished everything up early I was kind of sad. This year I was pretty much on top of things, so I thought, and then ended up procrastinating on a Barbie house I was redoing for Mad and every night I would just think why didn't I do this earlier so i could be snuggling with Matt watching It's a Wonderful Life! But lesson learned now I know! Next Year my Deadline will be Dec 1st....maybe! :) We thought we were pretty sneaky but apparently Madi is sneakier, about 5pm on Christmas day she told Matt that She had seen the barbie house and knew that Santa was bringing it to her. She didn't want to tell us before because she was afraid that she wouldn't get it anymore!! Dang kid! Max too was pretty excited but heck I worried and worried about what to get him and he opened a $2.00 punching bag and was in heaven for hours! And then there was My Mia girl! She loved it all too. Which was funny because I really didn't think she would have a clue of what was going on, and she just ran around in all of the excitement trying to figure out what on earth was going on! We loved it! What a fun Christmas. I loved celebrating my Savior's life and my family. It was just awesome!
For Christmas this year we were able to Party with my familia and Matt's as well. My mother had us over for a family dinner and the whole nativity story which always includes uncle Justin as the donkey! And Christmas morning we had Matt's family over for a big breakfast, games, and just enjoying each other. It's funny how when you are not the cook you take alot more pics!!
But now on to March!!!!!! Seriously!! Already! I can't believe Christmas has come and gone!! Why didn't they ever really truly explain to you when you were little how fast time really goes!!!! I feel old even saying that phrase!! But now I get it!
