Lava Hot Springs

Last weekend our little family of 5 was in need of a vacation with just us. So we packed up and went to Lava Hot Springs. It was awesome! The kids loved the one on one attention and we loved just being away. Madi was most excited to go swimming at the pools however the weather just did not cooperate. It rained all night and drizzled the next morning, but we still had a blast. We got ice cream, played at the arcade, made hot dogs and smores and told stories in the tent. We rediscovered how Maximus James Loves sleeping in a tent or I guess we should say loves flying and diving and rolling in tents he doesn't really care for the sleeping part! Madi was most excited for the snuggling and looking at the stars and I can't forget sleeping with a flashlight! Because of the rain we were not able to swim in the big pools but we went to the hot springs and had just as much fun. I love our little family. I hope that we will always be able to love laugh and play with each other.
