One of those Proud Mom moments
The other night we had my niece Bailey sleep over. Her, Madi, and I were watching a movie and when the movie was over I told madi good night and started heading up for bed. Because it was really late and we were totally out of our comfort zone I didn't really do the whole tuck into bed thing. As I was walking up the stairs though I could hear Madi whispering so I stopped to listen and I witnessed her saying her very own personal prayers, asking to sleep well, to bless bailey to sleep good, and of course to bless her to dream about mermaids. I could not help but feel so proud and so happy I of course started crying and ran and woke Matt up and was just really excited that Madi is getting it that she has her own testimony of prayer and that she realizes that she has a Heavenly Father and one who will watch over her and protect her and that all she has to do is ask with or without Mom!! We teach and hope and pray everyday for our children to understand that they are children of God and for them to feel his spirit and even though they may only be understanding it a teeny tiny bit, I will take it! I can't tell you how happy this made me!!

Wow! That's awesome.
That is awesome. I love it when Brooklynn reminds us about prayers. We really never say prayers at lunch time but Brooklynn always reminds us. Madi is so cute and getting so big.
Seriously adorable! I love being a Mom simply for those moments!
This is very cute! Hey, so I know that your ward did a dinner night for your Young Women's fundraiser. We are trying to put together a dinner for ours as well. Will you call me so we can chat about it? I need your input and have a favor to ask- thanks (801-389-9504) Hope to talk to you soon! Erin
Hey Brandi! I think you found me because I added your link from the old page I had onto the new one. We definitely need to get together soon. I have had a crazy schedule lately with work and everything, but I might be free Monday afternoon. What are your plans Monday or this week?
