My Birthday Boy

Max turned two yesterday!! I can't decide if he is in the terrible twos or if he is just plain out of control! This kid is crazy!!! And I LOVE it!! (well sometimes!) He is so stinking cute. Everyone can't help but smile every where we go. He just has this silly grin and you can tell just by looking at him that he is full of it, and he is. He loves to torment Madi but then two minutes later he loves to snuggle her and sleep in her bed with her. He loves to give me kisses and tell me I wuv ow and most importantly he LOVES his daddy! He is such a daddy's boy! You think I would be jealous but it is so cute to watch. he follows Matt everywhere and wants to be with him all of the time. He is into play fighting now so as soon as daddy gets home he runs and grabs two forks out of the drawer and takes one to Matt and Says Fight fight!! He loves foot ball and basketball. The other day we were at the park and Max saw this teenage boy with a basketball he ran up to him and said bassskkeetball catch catch! The kid laughed and then passed it to him. Max caught it and then threw it back and then galloped away smiling. When I say gallop I mean gallop he has this side gallop thing that he does to run and it makes me and Matt laugh so hard. He is definitely a ring leader (at least he thinks he is!) he loves to try and get kids of all ages to follow him. When there are lots of kids around he just gets in the middle of them all and yells come on come on and runs and then waits for them to follow! He just turned 2 but he thinks he is 9. The other day at the park there was a group of boys playing football. Max got so excited and ran right in the middle of the boys and yelled FOOTBALL!!! The boys are so nice that they just laughed and let Max run back and forth in the field with them so he thought he was playing too. He is making his daddy so proud because he loves any type of ball and he loves his brand new birthday fishing pole! We got him a spider man pole for his birthday and he just loves it! He carried it all around the house all morning and he just keeps saying catch a big one! Max you make us so happy! We love you so much! Happy Birthday DUDe!

You and Matt do such a great job being parents, I hope I'm half the Mom you are Brand! The things Madi comes up with!

Madi's first sore throat: Mom my breath hurts!!*Picking out a present for a friend: Oh Mom we must get this short hair piece it is so stylish and cute!*At 8:00 in the morning Madi comes running into my room and says, " Mom lets play outside!" Mom: what? Madi: Come on lets play outside Mom: It's really early what will we do out there? Madi: Oh I don't know just sit in the playhouse and talk!*Oh mom thank you thank you thank you for my princess book I have been dreaming about this book for days*Ok this one is kind of naughty but kind of funny??? As Max falls on Madi she pushes him off and says what the crap Max!!!! Matt and I laughed pretty hard, we know she picked that one up from dad *Madi saying prayers... Heavenly Father please help us to put our make up on so we don't look like clowns.*Mom: Mad let's put your toys away ok? Madi: You spoiled Ingrate!! A little music history!

My Best Friend: Well this is just our song. We love it, we danced to it at our wedding and whenever I hear it I think of our wedding day and all of our wonderful memories that we share together.

Fidelity: I just love this song for some reason. My mom and sister just laugh at me while I sing it. because I just belt it out. It's fun!

Mr. Brightside: Matt and I are huge Killers fans. Love them!!! When Madi was a baby we would dance with her in our kitchen almost every morning to this song. She would stand there and just bounce and giggle and dance along with us. We would also have my niece and nephew over and have huge dance parties. The neighbors probablly thought we were crazy but it was so much fun!!

New Kids on The Block: Ok what girl my age didn't like The New Kids on The Block!! Oh Joey was so hot!! They were the first concert that I ever went to, and Matthew just informed me the other day that they were getting back together! Go NKOTB!

Jame Taylor: I love this song. Whenever I hear it I just laugh my head off. On our honeymoon Matt and I were sitting on the Kareokee floor of our ship and everyone was singing and watching. I begged Matt to sing me a song. Of all of the love and romantic songs out there he chose this one. Everyone was laughing and singing along. The crowd loved him!!! But not as much as me.

Moldy Peaches: Have you seen Juno? Ok I'll admit some parts are kind of naughty (to say the least) But what a hilarious show. There was all sorts of funky music in that show but Matt and I had this song stuck in our head for days after seeing the movie.

Let it Be Me: This was our first song that we danced to as husband and wife. This was also my mom and dad's first dance on their wedding day. So I love it. My brother Mike tried to sing it for us, we was doing great and then in the middle of the verse he yelled out everybody now!! We laughed and still do laugh about it. What an excellent memory!

Ghetto Superstar: Well have you ever seen the movie Superstar? My brother-in-law once told me that I was such a geek like the girl on Superstar so for like three years after that I would claim that I was a superstar. Kind of weird but then for some reason Matt and I just liked this song.

See you again: We had to put a song on here for Miss Madi. She loves Hannah Montanna she loves to sing to it and dance to it, and we just love to watch her!
