Easter

We have had a great Easter weekend. The kids were spoiled by both sets of grandparents we were able to color eggs with Holli and the kids, attend two Easter egg hunts one with Kaysville city and one in our neighborhood that my mother and a couple of older neighbors put on. Sunday Morning we woke up and talked about Easter and why we celebrate and then the kids went crazy looking for their baskets. Well Madi did Max just ran around collecting eggs and eating whatever candy he could find. After church we went to the park and picnicked I had a little bag of eggs where each egg had a piece of the resurrection story. So, like a nail in one egg and a sacrament cup etc. As we ate lunch Matt and I talked to Madi about what was going on and why we celebrate Easter. Well with each egg madi could already explain the symbol that we were talking about. I couldn't figure out why and how she already knew all of this. And then she told me that they did the exact same lesson in primary that day. So hey at least she is listening right!!! It was so fun to play out in the sun and watch the kids laugh and chase birds. I love my kiddies and hubby so much. They make me so happy. I am so thankful for my Savior. I have had the chance to think about him a lot over the past couple of weeks with Easter coming and with my aunt passing away. I am so thankful for the knowledge that I have of knowing that he lives and that he atoned for my sins and that I can be with my family for ever and ever. I truly believe in his gospel, and I am so glad for the peace and happiness that it brings to me and my little family!
