Never say never

I don't even have a good picture to go with this and to even help describe what I am about to write but I sure wish I did. You know how before you have children you always say that they will never wear dirty clothes or never have a snotty nose. Well one of mine was never wear sweat pants and snow boots at least not together!!! Today Max changed that rule. You should have seen him. He had on his ugly hand me down snow boots too tight sweat pants (tucked in I might add) a runny snotty nose messy messy hair, like standing straight up, and an orange julius mustache. I could not look at him without laughing and he would just run around saying boots boots. Later on during the day we had to run to the store really quick and I did it! I actually took him into the public dressed that way.The only things missing were the mustache and snotty nose. So slowly but surely I am learning to never say never because that never almost always happens!!!

Ah yes! One of the great lessons of motherhood. Learn it well because what ever you say they will never do.... they absolutely possitively will! It's like some law of nature or something:) One of mine was "my children will never wear clothes with tv characters on it" Oh brother....wish that had been my worst worry of motherhood! Ha!

I catch myself every once in a while doing something or letting my kids do something I swore I would never happen. But for some reason those things just aren't as big of deal as they used to be. Funny how things change. Sorry about Saturday, we didn't come your way because of the weather. We need to get together again, probably after baby Reyka is born??!!

I'm glad I am not the only one who does that. I am always worried that someone will stop by unannounced and find us all looking like that!

Hey stranger...My mom showed me your cute xmas card with your blog address on it. Man I love the blog world. I love spying on old friends and family I never get to see anymore. I'm glad to see your family is all doing well. I'll be checkin in...

My vote for the name of course would be Regan, but i'm a little biased for that name.
