Big sister giving Mia her first bath
She is finally here! We are so excited and couldn't have asked for things to have gone any better. Sunday morning Dec 28th Matt and I went in to the hospital they broke my water at about 7:30 AM and Mia Elizabeth was born at 12:25 PM She was 8 lbs 4 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. Everything went pretty flawlessly except the epidural. For some reason the first one just didn't take. So While Matt and the nurse and dr were just chatting away I was feeling the pain just waiting for the EP to kick in. Finally I convinced the Dr. that it wasn't going to work and he had to give me another epidural. So by the time I got it I was a 7 or 8 and I don't know how women go naturally it was hurting pretty bad. But I am doing awesome. I feel great!! Baby is doing awesome she is eating like a champ. Daddy, brother, and sister are in heaven. We all just love her to death. Madi constantly wants to help and hold her. So we are little excited for the newness to wear off so Mia has some breathing room.

Congrats! Your family is getting so big! How old is your oldest? crazy how all of us are all grown up like this. I still feel like a kid at parties flirting with every guy I see. (minus the flirting part now, of course!)

I was so excited when Hart told me that he got a text from Matt! We need to get down there and see that pretty little baby. I love the name you chose, Hart will be disappointed that it's not Reyka, but i love it! Madi's hair is adorable, I'm sure you have allot of help with her around, she will be a great big sister.

I think she is darling and I love the name you picked. John and I were just talking the other day about how we want to come up and meet her- an excuse to visit is always good for us. I can't believe you two have such a family- it doesn't feel like we're grown up enough. Well maybe it's just John and I who don't feel that :). We'll call soon to set something up.
