Madi didn't really care for the roasted hot dogs she'd rather roast a grape, or a chip!! Whatever works right?
So on Friday night we promised madi that we were going to roast marshmallows and hot dogs in our backyard. My parents have one of those fire pits that you can move around everywhere and we were going to borrow theirs but of course the day that we want to use it we can't find it. Madi was so sad. I looked at Matt and said we can build our own! So we went and found some wood and rocks and built one in our future sandbox area in our yard and it worked just greaat! It was actually kind of fun, after hot dogs and when it had cooled off we had several neighbors come over for smores and to just hang out. Not bad for a make shift fire pit right??? One day we'll get that fancy dancy one!
