Word to the Wise!!

I just have a little funny story I would like to share! Last spring as we were getting ready to put in our yard our next door neighbor came over and told us about this fertilizer that was free (that should have been my first red flag) and that he would guarantee that our lawn would be the greenest and thickest in the neighborhood. So we decided to use it becuase it sounded awesome! Well it was biocompost, or something like that anyways as soon as they delivered it and I took a whiif of my front yard I about passed out. Apparently this biocompost was human waste!! SICK!!! Not only sick but DISGUSTING!! Our whole neighborhodd stunk so bad and everyone knew it was ours and our neighbors house. It smelled so bad that Madi and I didn't dare to open the windows or even walk across the yard. In fact one day Madi saw a neighbor playing in our yard and she said, "look mommy he is playing in the poop!" Well after a few weeks the smell wore down and the fertilizer has kicked in. A year later, Our lawn is out of control!!! I swear to keep on top of it we would need to mow it like every other day. It is really ridiculous, so the moral of the story is if you don't want to be known as the stink house and you don't want to be mowing your yard three times a week don't use human waste!!!!!
