I've never felt fatter!

Two fattys eating away!!! Hey at least we are cute!
For a minute there Holli thought that she was in the race too, we had to remind her that she wasn't
On Friday night I get a call from my brother Mike. Anyone who knows Mike loves him and knows that he is absolutely hilarious and will do just about anything that He wants to do and really doesn't care what anyone thinks about him. Well he was calling to ask me if I wanted to run the salt lake half marathon with him the next morning. At first I was flattered to think that he even thought that I could do that! And then I just laughed at him and told him heck NO! Well I didn't really think that he would do it and then the next morning He called at 6:00 AM and said that we better be at the finish line. I instantlly called my mom and sister and told them that we had to go in case he passed out or something. So we jumped in the car and went and cheered him on along the 13.5 mile route. Honestly I thought either A. he would not make it past 3 miles or B it would take him all day but he finished under three hours and he was not at the end. We were all so proud of him.

He has inspired me, along the route we were sitting there eating our Wendys breakfast while all of these runners ran by and looked at us like we were that fattest things on earth. So come July I will have ran a half marathon, just you wait!!!

Hey Brandi! So fun to see your blog too. :) Im actually self taught in photography. It actually all started because I got sick of taking my kids to places and not liking the results. It kind of snowballed from there. :) I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. I've taught myself in both those too. Its been a long road! Lol... Anyway- if you are interested in learning, I'd be happy to help you out. :) It took me 5 years to be where Im at in Photoshop- so I try and help people out with that so it doesnt take them as long as it did for me!

How about just doing the Kaysville 5K with me? Then we can think about a half in the fall.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 (the latest version) acutally sells for about $650. If you want CS3, you can get it through the college (if you or someone you know is a student) or you can get Photoshop Elements for under $100. Elements (from what I hear) has a more user friendly interface too. :) Lightroom is about $300. (but again, you can get it at the college for cheaper) Just thought I'd share becuase the first time I saw that price tag I was shocked! :)

You can also go to http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/index.html and download their free trial.

Let me know if you have any questions about it. Im totally not pro, but I know enough to get me around. :)

I love reading your blogs because you crack me up. Half Marathon, huh? You go girl. Maybe next year I will be at a place where I could do that, but as for now I think I will just stick with my 5K.
