Ok so we tried a dog and that didn't work out, so now we are trying fish. For Family Home Evening Last week we decided to clean out our old tank and fill it up with some brand new fishies! Madi loved picking the fish out and her and MAx both love watching the fish swim around. So far we have had two casualties, that was pretty devastating for Mad but she just hid behind the couch while Matt took care of them. Now everytime we leave the house Madi says "oh mom I hope the fish don't die while we are gone." Every single time, and then right before we are about to get home she wants me to call Matt and ask if the fish are still alive. SO hopefully we'll have more luck with this pet, it is alot easier!!!

What happened to your dog, what did you do?
Okay so I have run into so many people by blogging lately! It's Kara (Rytting) Klc. You guys are brave with the whole pet thing! I wonder how long before we'll cave and end up getting something for our daughter. She loves animals! Me on the other hand ... not so fond! Everytime I think about just getting her a fish I think of Finding Nemo and how much Nikki (my little one) would remind me of Darla!
I think we might end up doing the same thing soon. We used to have goldfish back in New York but they both died and we haven't done anything since.
Boring, waiting for a new post. I give those fish less than a month before matt gets rid of them too!
Brandi & Matt!!! Oh my heck! It is so good to hear from you guys! It's a total blast from the past, but such a good one! Your family is completely adorable, and it is so crazy to see you all grown up, even though I guess I am too! It will be fun to check in and see how you are doing. . . I have a million questions, maybe not blog material though. . .where are you living, what is Matt doing for work, who are you still in touch with, etc. etc. Have a great day, and a huge HELLO! from me!
