Joy School Halloween Party

Joy school week at our house fell during Halloween week. Max was so excited that he got to have a halloween party at his house. The kids were all darling and VERY HYPER!! But so fun! My mama came up to hang out so I made her bring her witch costume and she told all of the kids Halloween stories and took them on a walk. We made crafts, played games, and ate treats.I love watching the kids get so excited to celebrate different holidays and so excited to just play.

The things Madi comes up with!

Madi's first sore throat: Mom my breath hurts!!*Picking out a present for a friend: Oh Mom we must get this short hair piece it is so stylish and cute!*At 8:00 in the morning Madi comes running into my room and says, " Mom lets play outside!" Mom: what? Madi: Come on lets play outside Mom: It's really early what will we do out there? Madi: Oh I don't know just sit in the playhouse and talk!*Oh mom thank you thank you thank you for my princess book I have been dreaming about this book for days*Ok this one is kind of naughty but kind of funny??? As Max falls on Madi she pushes him off and says what the crap Max!!!! Matt and I laughed pretty hard, we know she picked that one up from dad *Madi saying prayers... Heavenly Father please help us to put our make up on so we don't look like clowns.*Mom: Mad let's put your toys away ok? Madi: You spoiled Ingrate!! ( alittle too much Cinderella don't you think??)*Mom I'm Dorothy okyou are the witch...minutes later where's my toothpaste witch!*Oh Santa!!*Mom you better be nice Jingle the elf is watching you*Don't worry mom I'll talk to Santa and he will bring you a very special necklace*Mom when I go to college I want to learn how to be a mommy*Mom when I am 28 I will go to the temple and get blessings and then I can brush my baby's hair like you brush mine*Frogs Mama! There are frogs in my bed!* Mom: Mad don't ever leave me ok? Mad: but mom some day my prince will come!* Mom! A little music history!

My Best Friend: Well this is just our song. We love it, we danced to it at our wedding and whenever I hear it I think of our wedding day and all of our wonderful memories that we share together.

Fidelity: I just love this song for some reason. My mom and sister just laugh at me while I sing it. because I just belt it out. It's fun!

Mr. Brightside: Matt and I are huge Killers fans. Love them!!! When Madi was a baby we would dance with her in our kitchen almost every morning to this song. She would stand there and just bounce and giggle and dance along with us. We would also have my niece and nephew over and have huge dance parties. The neighbors probablly thought we were crazy but it was so much fun!!

New Kids on The Block: Ok what girl my age didn't like The New Kids on The Block!! Oh Joey was so hot!! They were the first concert that I ever went to, and Matthew just informed me the other day that they were getting back together! Go NKOTB!

Jame Taylor: I love this song. Whenever I hear it I just laugh my head off. On our honeymoon Matt and I were sitting on the Kareokee floor of our ship and everyone was singing and watching. I begged Matt to sing me a song. Of all of the love and romantic songs out there he chose this one. Everyone was laughing and singing along. The crowd loved him!!! But not as much as me.

Moldy Peaches: Have you seen Juno? Ok I'll admit some parts are kind of naughty (to say the least) But what a hilarious show. There was all sorts of funky music in that show but Matt and I had this song stuck in our head for days after seeing the movie.

Let it Be Me: This was our first song that we danced to as husband and wife. This was also my mom and dad's first dance on their wedding day. So I love it. My brother Mike tried to sing it for us, we was doing great and then in the middle of the verse he yelled out everybody now!! We laughed and still do laugh about it. What an excellent memory!

Ghetto Superstar: Well have you ever seen the movie Superstar? My brother-in-law once told me that I was such a geek like the girl on Superstar so for like three years after that I would claim that I was a superstar. Kind of weird but then for some reason Matt and I just liked this song.

See you again: We had to put a song on here for Miss Madi. She loves Hannah Montanna she loves to sing to it and dance to it, and we just love to watch her!
